RTA Forms Multiple Merge Program

The Landlord and Tenant Board (the Board)’s forms allow for automated data capture through scanning and Internet filing.  These forms rely on Adobe Acrobat Reader.  

To address client needs for a process to automate form generation, the Board has developed a merge program.  The program uses Excel to merge data with Adobe PDF forms.  The program allows clients to key data into Excel, or import data from some other system.  

Important:

 

Several of the Board’s Notices of Termination were revised as of May 22, 2007.  These revised notices have not been incorporated into the Merge Program.  As a result, you should not use the Merge Program to produce the following Notices of Termination:

  • N5 – Notice to Terminate a Tenancy Early
  • N6 – Notice to Terminate a Tenancy Early – Illegal Act or Misrepresentation of Income
  • N7 – 10-Day Notice to Terminate a Tenancy Early
  • N8 – Notice to Terminate a Tenancy at the End of Term
  • N12 – Notice to Terminate at the End of Term for Landlord’s or Purchaser’s Own Use
  • N13 – Notice of Termination at the End of Term for Conversion, Demolition or Repairs.

We are working on updating the Merge Program to include the revised forms and anticipate that it will be ready in late June / early July.  In the meantime, the current version of the program can be used for all other forms and notices, including the N4 and L1.
