Attention:  Clients with Orders Issued between January 2, 2008 and April 9, 2008

The Board recently discovered an error in the computer program that calculates the amount of interest on the last month's rent deposit that the landlord owes the tenant.  This problem was addressed as of April 10, 2008.  Refer to the attached document for more information about the orders that are affected and how they can be fixed. Click here. 

Information from your Landlord about Utility Costs form available online

The Board has released a new form: Information from your Landlord about Utility Costs.  This form must be used where an order was issued under the Act setting out a rent increase above the guideline, and the increase that was taken was in whole or in part due to utility costs.  The Act requires landlords to inform tenants of the utility costs for a 5 year period.
