Bittu George

Bittu attended Queen’s University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A. Hons.) in Political Studies in 1995, and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) in 1998.  He was called to the Ontario Bar in 2002, and has been in private practice, with a focus on immigration law.  Mr. George has also worked at the Ontario Ministry of Transportation from 1998 to 2000, as well as working at a Kingston law firm in the areas of planning, municipal and real estate law in 2005.   An active member of the Kingston community for many years, Bittu has served as a City Councillor (2003 to 2006) and Deputy Mayor from 2005 to 2006.
