Egya Sangmuah

Egya Sangmuah is a graduate of the University of Toronto (Ph.D in History), McGill Law School (LL.B.), Osgoode Hall Law School (LL.M.), and the University of Ghana (B.A. Hons.).  He was a member of the Immigration Appeal Division of the Immigration and Refugee Board (IRB) from 1999 to 2006 and the Convention Refugee Determination Division of the IRB from 1996 to 1998.  Prior to joining the IRB, Mr. Sangmuah was Counsel to the the Ontario Ministry of Citizenship, Culture and Recreation, as well as a part-time Member of the Liquor Licence Board of Ontario. He was also a Law Clerk  to the justices of the Ontario Court of Appeal.
