Ruth CareyMEMBER Ruth Carey holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree from the University of Ottawa, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Women's Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry (B.Sc.F) from the University of Toronto. She was called to the Bar of Ontario in 1993. From 1996 to 2006 she was the Executive Director of the HIV & AIDS Legal Clinic (Ontario). In the past, she has been a member of the Boards of Directors of a number of community based or charitable organisations including the Northumberland Social Planning Council, Pro Bono Law Ontario, and the Canadian HIV/AIDS Legal Network. |
