Louis Bourgon

Louis Bourgon graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A. 1992) and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. 1995). He was called to the Ontario bar in 1998. Mr. Bourgon also holds a certificate in Alterative Dispute Resolution from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law.
 
Before his appointment to the Landlord and Tenant Board, he worked for seven years as legal counsel in the Law Society of Upper Canada’s Professional Regulation Division. He also previously served as legal counsel to the Children’s Aid Society of Ottawa.

Mr. Bourgon has been an invited speaker at law schools and legal conferences on matters of professional responsibility and discipline.
